Engineering in Disaster Relief


RedR is an international federation of organisations who relieve suffering caused by disasters by providing on-site personnel especially engineers.


Cheryl McDonald is a Public Health Engineer, with extensive overseas experience in water, sanitation and hygiene engineering in Indonesia post tsunami, including working with local teams and quality control procedures, and challenging working conditions. Cheryl currently works in RedRĀ“s Clusters team as Projects Coordinator.


Anne Durrant, Fundraising and Communications Director, will introduce the work of RedR and how engineers can get involved in their work.
